Academics

Along with building “perpetual bonds of friendship,” Tri Delta also strives “to broaden the moral and intellectual life” of its members. Creighton University provides the women of Epsilon Mu with a challenging and well-rounded education, and we work very hard to learn as much as we can and maintain good grades- in the 2017 Spring semester, our chapter's average GPA was a 3.51!

In order to encourage continued academic excellence, the Academic Chair hosts study hours every week in a building on campus. Not only is it a way to focus on our studies but also spend time with our sisters. Our chapter has a tradition of having a "No-Skippy Jar" to promote academics and class attendance every Wednesday during chapter, as well as celebrating sisters who received 4.0 GPAs in the previous semester with a pearl to dangle on their badge.

Epsilon Mu hosts an annual Career Night in the Fall semester. We partner with the Omaha Alumnae Chapter to bring Tri Delta alumnae in various career fields to come speak about their job experiences. The women give advice about how to best prepare for the “real world” and what we can to in college to give us an advantage after graduation. It is always an incredibly successful event, and we are incredibly thankful to have such talented, hard-working sisters share their stories with us.

Whatever is good to know is difficult to learn.
